序

經 Classic Text

原夫兩儀未位，神用藏於視聽，一氣化矣，至隨隱乎名言。於是河龍負圖，庖皇畫卦，仰觀俯察，達物近身。八象窮天地之情，六位備剛柔之體，言大道之妙有，一陰一陽，論聖人之範圍，顯仁藏用。實三元之胎祖，鼓舞財成為萬有之著龜，知來藏往。

Translation

Tracing it back: before the Two Forms took their places, spiritual function was hidden within sight and hearing. Once the primordial qi transformed, the utmost subtlety was concealed in names and words.

Thereupon the river dragon bore the Diagram, and Lord Bao (Fuxi) drew the trigrams, looking up to observe and down to examine, comprehending things and drawing from his own body. The eight images exhausted the reality of Heaven and Earth; the six positions fully embodied the firm and the yielding.

Speaking of the wondrous existence of the great Way — one yin, one yang. Discussing the sage's encompassing pattern — manifesting humaneness, concealing function.

Truly the ancestral seed of the Three Primes, drumming and dancing, completing and forming — the prominent tortoise of the myriad things, knowing the future, storing the past.
