Female Fate: Ziwei Star
女命紫微
守於身命，厚重清秀。會吉星旺夫益子。在寅午申宮守命，加吉貴美。紫微會貪狼同值於卯酉，不落風塵，多為君臣慶會。紫微七殺加空亡，虛名受蔭之才。
Guarding Fate and Body: dignified and refined. Meeting auspicious stars: benefits husband and children. Guarding the Fate Palace in Yin, Wu, or Shen with added auspicious stars: noble and beautiful. Ziwei meeting Tanlang sharing Mao or You: does not fall into vice, often forming the Sovereign-Ministers Assembly. Ziwei with Qisha plus Void: an empty reputation with borrowed prestige.

女命貪狼
守於身命入廟會太陽，輕則偏房侍姿。己巳生人命值於辰戌丑未宮守命身，又云：「貪狼三合相臨照，也學君去偷香。」經云：「貪狼守命多嬌，必為婢婦侍姿。」

守命陷地加四煞沖破，主孤剋。只可婢為妻。七殺獨守身宮，主生離客寄。女命文曲逢七殺三方，必為婢嫗。甲己生人命值於辰戌丑未宮，在子午宮守命，加四煞沖破，必為婢嫗。
Guarding the Fate Palace in detriment with the Four Malefics clashing: portends isolation and harm. Can only be a maid-turned-wife. Qisha alone guarding the Body Palace: portends separation and displacement. When a woman's Wenqu encounters Qisha's Three Harmonies: she inevitably becomes a servant. Jia or Ji year births with Fate in Chen, Xu, Chou, or Wei, guarding Zi or Wu with the Four Malefics clashing: she inevitably becomes a servant.

小兒金鎖鐵蛇關
當從戌上起子年順數，宮起子順數生年月到本生年支，又從本生年支起正月逆數到本生月，再自本生時逆轉。小兒壽天可預知。凡生於寅申巳亥月，忌辰戌丑未時。
Starting from Xu, begin at Zi year counting forward through the birth year's Earthly Branch; then from the birth year's Branch start at the first month counting backward to the birth month; then from the birth hour count in reverse. A child's longevity can be foreknown. Those born in Yin, Shen, Si, or Hai months should beware of Chen, Xu, Chou, or Wei birth hours.

小兒百日關
寅申巳亥月，忌辰戌丑未時。子午生人，忌子午卯西時。
Those born in Yin, Shen, Si, or Hai months should beware of Chen, Xu, Chou, or Wei birth hours. Those born under Zi or Wu should beware of Zi, Wu, Mao, or You birth hours.
Children's Barrier: General's Arrow
小兒將軍箭
一箭傷人三歲死，二箭須教六歲亡，三箭九歲見將死，四節十二便身喪。將軍箭下逃得過。
One arrow wounds at three years old. Two arrows surely bring death at six. Three arrows: at nine, death approaches. Four seasonal arrows: at twelve, the body perishes. If one survives past the General's Arrow [these critical ages].

Children born at Zi, Wu, Mao, or You hours: well-formed and upright. Born at Yin, Mao, Chen, or Si hours: a greenish tinge. Born at Chen, Wu, or Wei hours: a reddish tinge. Born at Shen, Xu, or Hai hours: properly formed.
