The occipital bone (zhengu, literally 'pillow bone') is the bone at the back of the head. The shape of the bone -- high or low, round or pointed -- governs one's destiny for official position and military command. Bone rising high indicates nobility and authority. Round bone indicates complete fortune. Pointed bone indicates sharp fortune and military career. Flat bone indicates ordinary fortune. [Note: Called 'pillow bone' because it is the part of the head that rests on a pillow; traditional Chinese pillows were hard (ceramic or wood), making the bone shape easily felt.]
