The Correct Meaning states: The reason it is called Yu (Enthusiasm) is that it takes the meaning of ease and delight. By moving with harmonious compliance, the movement does not go against the multitude, and the multitude are all pleased and delighted — therefore it is called Yu.
Since movement pleases the multitude, it is beneficial to install feudal lords. Since it moves with compliance and does not impose upon the innocent, it can be used to set armies marching.
The reason it lacks the four virtues (Sublime Beginning, Success, Benefit, Correctness) is that the affairs of ease and delight cannot be practiced constantly — they are enacted only when the time calls for them.
Affairs of indulgence and leisure cannot be carried on for long as governing the state and instructing customs — therefore there is no Sublime Beginning or Success. Ease and delight are not the way of managing what is correct — therefore it does not say Benefit or Correctness.
" I fear Master Zhuang's explanation is incorrect.
