亨通顯達逢生旺。病通迍邅遇死冲。生旺發來墓絕止。墓絕發來墓旺終。
Prosperity and distinction come when meeting the Birth and Flourishing positions. Illness and hardship come when encountering the Death and Clash positions. What rises from Birth and Flourishing ceases at Tomb and Extinction. What rises from Tomb and Extinction ends at Tomb and Flourishing.

地網天羅遇火陀。須教魂魄見閻羅。更加煞倒必然凶。二限逢太歲大耗必然凶。
When the Earthly Snare (Chen palace) or Celestial Net (Xu palace) encounters Fire Star or Tuoluo: one's soul shall meet King Yama. If malefics further compound it, disaster is certain. When both Major and Minor Limits encounter the Annual Star with Great Consumption, misfortune is inevitable.

如「命」坐寅宮，而以寅申巳亥為「三方」。「命」坐午宮，而寅戌為「二方」，午之「對宮」為子。亦有以財帛、遷移、官祿三方。

四正詳解
何謂四正？命宮之垣即是也。寅申巳亥為「四生」、「四馬」之地。子午卯酉為「四敗」之地。辰戌丑未為「四墓」之地。
What are the Four Cardinals? They are the positions of the Fate Palace itself. Yin-Shen-Si-Hai are the 'Four Birth' or 'Four Horse' positions. Zi-Wu-Mao-You are the 'Four Decline' positions. Chen-Xu-Chou-Wei are the 'Four Tomb' positions.
Fate Encountering the Four Cardinals
命逢四正
命逢四正之人，最為珍稀。更得化科、化權、化祿之守照，必主大富大貴。惟遇四煞化忌主凶。女命尼姑寡可知。
A person whose birth year, month, day, and hour all align with the Four Cardinal positions is extremely rare. If additionally blessed with Hua Ke, Hua Quan, and Hua Lu guarding and illuminating, it portends great wealth and nobility. However, if the Four Malefics and Hua Ji are present, it augurs misfortune. For a woman's chart, this may indicate becoming a nun or widow.

康貞巨門火鈴星，貪破七殺多刑失。湊此方能論生死。四正三方二限見臨，黃泉急脚不須停。更加七殺破軍照，老人童子最忌臨。
Lianzhen, Jumen, Fire Star, and Bell Star; Tanlang, Pojun, and Qisha bring much punishment and loss. Only when these converge can one discuss life and death. When the Four Cardinals and Three Harmonies both see the two Limits arriving: the road to the Yellow Springs (death) rushes without stopping. If Qisha and Pojun further illuminate: the elderly and the young are most vulnerable.

三煞三合冲併，太歲、白虎、病符、死符照限，十無一生。
When the Three Malefics converge with the Three Harmonies clash, and the Annual Star, White Tiger, Illness Talisman, and Death Talisman all illuminate the Limit period — out of ten, not one survives.
