問紫微所主若何
答曰：紫微屬土，乃中天之尊星，為帝座，主掌造化。府為幹藏之主，天相昌曲之扶持，魁鉞為傳令，日月為分司。無輔弼同行，則為孤君，雖美不足。與煞同宮，無左右相佐，定為背主。
Answer: Ziwei belongs to Earth and is the most honored star of the central heavens, serving as the Emperor's Throne and governing creation. Tianfu is the master of the treasury; Tianxiang, Wenqhang, and Wenqu provide support; Tiankui and Tianyue serve as heralds; the Sun and Moon serve as divisional administrators. Without Zuofu and Youbi as companions, it becomes a Lonely Sovereign — beautiful but insufficient. With malefics sharing the palace and no Zuofu or Youbi as assistants, it is destined to be a betrayed ruler.

問天機所主若何
答曰：天機屬木，乃南斗益壽之善星也。化氣為善，得地，合之行事。數，無惡虐不仁之心，有變機之智。希夷先生曰：天機益壽，若遇吉星則吉，遇凶為凶。
Answer: Tianji belongs to Wood and is the life-extending benevolent star of the Southern Dipper. Its transformed energy is benevolence; when well-placed, it harmonizes actions. The person lacks cruelty or inhumanity and possesses the intelligence of strategic adaptation. Master Xiyi said: 'Tianji extends life. When meeting auspicious stars it is auspicious; when meeting inauspicious ones it turns inauspicious.'

問武曲所主若何
答曰：武曲屬金，在數司財，為財帛宮主，與天府同為司財。怕受制，懶失陷。喜祿存會合以成祥。人剛強果斷，甲己生人福厚。會貪狼因妻致富。與太陰為助財。
Answer: Wuqu belongs to Metal; in fate calculation it governs wealth and is the master of the Wealth Palace, sharing financial governance with Tianfu. It fears being controlled and becomes lazy when in detriment. It delights in meeting Lucun in conjunction to create auspiciousness. The person is resolute and decisive; Jia and Ji year births enjoy deep blessings. Meeting Tanlang brings wealth through one's spouse. Taiyin serves as its financial assistant.

問天府所主若何
答曰：天府屬土，南斗令主，為財帛之主幸。會吉皆為富，能制羊陀為從，能化火鈴為福。秘云：天府為祿庫，命逢終是富。女命得之清正機巧，旺夫益子。
Answer: Tianfu belongs to Earth and is the commanding lord of the Southern Dipper, serving as the fortunate master of the Wealth Palace. When meeting auspicious stars, it invariably produces wealth. It can subdue Qingyang and Tuoluo into servants and transform Fire and Bell Stars into blessings. The secret text says: 'Tianfu is the Salary Treasury — when Fate encounters it, one is ultimately wealthy.' Women who possess it are virtuous, resourceful, beneficial to their husbands and children.
Q: What Does Qisha Govern?
問七殺所主若何
答曰：七殺南斗第六星也，屬火金，乃斗中之上將，實成敗之孤辰也。化刑為祥，化祥為刑。在官祿得地，遇紫微化為權。此乃英雄為殺制，蓋世英雄為殺制也。
Answer: Qisha is the sixth star of the Southern Dipper, belonging to Fire and Metal. It is the supreme general among the Dipper stars — truly the lonely harbinger of success and failure. It transforms punishment into auspiciousness and auspiciousness into punishment. When well-placed in the Career Palace, meeting Ziwei transforms it into Authority. This is the hero restrained by the Killing Star — the peerless hero is governed by the Killing Star.

問化祿化權化科化忌所主若何

Hua Lu (Transformation of Salary): Salary is the spirit of Fortune-Virtue, guarding the Fate, Body, and Career positions. When meeting Hua Ke and Hua Quan, one becomes a pillar-and-cornerstone minister. Hua Quan (Transformation of Authority): The Authority Star governs the judgment of life and death. Guarding Fate and Body while meeting Hua Ke and Hua Lu, one becomes both general and minister. Hua Ke (Transformation of Examination): The Examination Star is the heavenly testing spirit, governing literary arts. Hua Ji (Transformation of Obstruction): Obstruction is the spirit of meddling. Guarding Fate and Body, one never encounters smooth sailing; in Minor Limits, a year of setbacks; in Major Limits, ten years of regret.
