名實相符

名實相符,則君子之道行。名實相離,則小人之道長。

When name and reality align, the Way of the noble person prevails. When name and reality diverge, the way of the petty person grows.

伊尹周公

伊尹教太甲,周公輔成王。卓爾無毀。

Yi Yin taught King Taijia; the Duke of Zhou assisted King Cheng. Their accomplishments stood outstanding and unblemished.

The Principle of Order and Chaos

治亂之理

天下將治,則人必尚行也。天下將亂,則人必尚言也。天下將治,則人必尚義也。天下將亂,則人必尚利也。

When All Under Heaven is about to be well-ordered, people necessarily value action. When All Under Heaven is about to fall into chaos, people necessarily value words. When All Under Heaven is about to be well-ordered, people necessarily value righteousness. When All Under Heaven is about to fall into chaos, people necessarily value profit.
