The body number of Greater Yang is twelve; the body number of Greater Yin is twelve; the body number of Lesser Yang is twelve; the body number of Lesser Yin is twelve.

日月星辰與四象
鄧氏伯溫曰:日為太陽,其數十;月為太陰,其數十二;星為少陽;辰為少陰,其數十二。
Deng Bowen says: The Sun is Greater Yang, its number is ten; the Moon is Greater Yin, its number is twelve; the Stars are Lesser Yang; the Celestial Bodies are Lesser Yin, their number is twelve.

元會運世曆
黃氏織曰:土為元會運世曆也。曆居陽法陰治,故專言天律歲時,各不得兼言地。
Master Huang says: Earth governs the Yuan-Hui-Yun-Shi calendar system. The calendar resides in yang methods and yin governance; therefore it specifically discusses Heaven's pitch-pipe rhythms and seasonal times, each unable to simultaneously discuss Earth.
