疏 Kong Yingda's Subcommentary

Translation

The Correct Meaning states: 'Dispersion, Success'—Huan (Dispersion) is the name of the hexagram. ' Thus huan is the name for scattering and releasing. ' This further shows that huan signifies separation and scattering.

The meaning of Dispersion is that petty persons encounter difficulties and scatter in flight to escape. A person of great virtue is able at such a time to establish merit and build virtue, dispersing difficulties and releasing dangers—hence it is called Dispersion. '
