疏 Kong Yingda's Subcommentary
正義曰：遯亨者，遯者隱退逃避之名，陰長之卦。小人方用，君子日消。君子當此之時，若不隱遯避世，即受其害。須遯而後得通，故曰遯亨。小利貞者，陰道初始浸長，正道亦未全滅，故曰小利貞。
Translation
The Correct Meaning states: 'Retreat, Success' — 'Retreat' is a name for hiding, withdrawing, fleeing, and avoiding. It is a hexagram of the yin force growing. Petty people are coming into use, and the superior person's influence diminishes daily.
When the superior person faces such a time, if he does not hide and retreat from the world, he will suffer harm. '
